At 23, singer/songwriter John Krueger is already a veteran of the business. Writing music and touring the country for almost a third of his life, Krueger has garnered the attention of some of Nashville's best songwriters, opened for Grammy award-winning artists and taken home numerous Billboard songwriting awards.
An infatuation with pop and folk music from the 1960s fueled Krueger's desire to write his own songs and make records. Listening to early Bob Dylan, Byrds, and Beatles albums taught Krueger how to write music, while Jim Croce and Harry Chapin inspired him as a storyteller.
After one semester of college, Krueger took to the road to play his songs wherever he could. 2007 saw Krueger open for pop sensations Colbie Caillat and Hootie & The Blowfish, and later landing opening slots with Angie Aparo, Corey Smith and Patrick Davis.
Several years of touring with John Krueger Trio — and three EPs along the way — led Krueger to Nashville to work as a songwriter. While in Music City, Krueger found himself writing folk and rock 'n' roll songs.
His 2011 projects include promoting his latest album "JK," both solo and with his band, Eskimojitos.
